The Arabic Language Teaching Institute for Non-Native Speakers at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University announced the opening of registration for the “Arabic Language Teaching Diploma Program” for the first semester of the academic year 1446 AH, starting today, Sunday, 14 July 2024. The program aims to linguistically qualify female students and enable them to study at Arab universities. The program targets graduates holding a high school certificate or its equivalent from inside Saudi Arabia and from outside it, with the goal of equipping them with Modern Standard Arabic and its components—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—enabling them to practice correct language skills in different situations, and developing their ability to employ modern technology tools and related skills in teaching Arabic. It also introduces graduates to Arab culture within the framework of human values. The program provides an opportunity for non-Arab applicants who are not covered by external and internal scholarship systems to learn Arabic through a semester-based structure consisting of four levels, with each level representing one academic semester. Upon completion of the program, the student receives a diploma certificate in Arabic for non-native speakers. This comes within the Institute’s efforts to contribute to achieving Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s 2025 strategic plan objectives by focusing on delivering high-quality education and strengthening university education through adopting best global practices in teaching and learning, instructional methods, and blended e-learning.
