Brief
Mezna Saleh Altowyan was born in Saudi Arabia. She got a B.Sc. in chemistry at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Saudi Arabia. She started her career as a teacher at school, for a short time and then shifted into the Chemistry Department, College of Science, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University through a government designation program for the top-ranked students. Subsequently, in 2012, she was awarded a Ph.D. scholarship program from Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in Saudi Arabia, and was promoted to associate professor in October 2020. Moreover, October 2024 she was promoted to professor. Research interests focus on drug discovery, protein-protein interaction inhibitors, asymmetric synthesis, and X-ray single crystallography
