High School Talent Acquisition Program

Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University has initiated the “High School Talent Acquisition Program" aiming to set standards and incentives to draw in talented high school graduates, including disabled students. The program's goal is to enrich the university's income with outstanding students in specific fields, adhering to transparent criteria. It is designated to enhance the university's role in advancing alongside societal development and actively contributing to the realization of Vision 2030, fostering sustainable development for our nation.

 

Targeted Programs:

·       BA in Fashion and Textile Design
  • BA in Visual Arts
  • BA in Chinese Language
  • BA in English Literature and Cultural Studies
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management
  • BA in translation/French language
·       Diploma in Tourism and Travel Management

 

First: Talent Acquisition Requirements for the Bachelor's Programs in Visual Arts and Fashion and Textile Design:

Applications for both programs can be accessed through the talent acquisition portal within the specified timeframe.

1.     The applicant must be Saudi or have a Saudi mother.

2.     The applicant must be a third-year high school student expected to graduate by the end of the year 1444.

3.     Demonstrating talent in either drawing or fashion design is essential.

4.     Applicants are required to pass the art aptitude test.

 

Upon meeting the admission requirements, applicants will be automatically evaluated based on available seats, admission criteria for the College of Designs and Arts, and the composite ratio.

 

Documents to be uploaded:

- A copy of a valid national ID card/resident ID.

- A copy of the second-semester certificate for current third-year high school students.

Note: Attachments must be in PDF format, with a maximum file size of 1 MB.

 

Pre-application Instructions:

For talented students in drawing:

- Admitted candidates must meet the requirements for the Bachelor of Visual Arts program at the College of Designs and Arts.

- After one academic year, students will be allocated to a specific track within the Visual Arts program as per the regulations.

- Transfer to other majors within or outside the college is not permitted.

 

For talented students in fashion design:

- Admitted candidates must meet the requirements for the Bachelor of Fashion and Textile Design program within the College of Designs and Arts.

- Transfer to other majors within or outside the college is not permitted.

 

Final admission results will be announced upon completion of high school, general aptitude, and achievement assessments.

 

Instructions and Tools Required for the Art Aptitude Test:

·       The original national ID card is required.

·       Candidates must arrive at the College of Designs and Arts building (station A7) half an hour before the scheduled appointment. An email containing test and interview dates will be sent to the registered email address within the specified period.

·       Candidates must bring A3 white Canson paper (29×42 cm), pencil (B4), eraser, sharpener, ruler, and a blue pen.

·       Note: Attendance on the specified date is mandatory. Failure to attend will result in forfeiture of nomination rights, as rescheduling is not possible.

 

Second: Talent Acquisition Requirements for the Bachelor's programs in English Literature and Cultural Studies, Chinese Language, and Translation/French Language:

Applications for both programs can be accessed through the talent acquisition portal within the specified timeframe.

1.     The applicant must be Saudi or have a Saudi mother.

2.     The applicant must be a third-year high school student expected to graduate by the end of the year 1444.

3.     The applicant should obtain the minimum score required in the language proficiency test, as outlined in the table below. The certificate must be valid.

4.     The applicant must present literary works in the English language of their own, such as stories, novels, poetry, or plays.

5.     The applicant is required to pass the interview (test) determined by the college.

Upon meeting the admission requirements and successfully passing the interview, students will be evaluated automatically based on available seats, admission criteria for the College of Languages, and the composite ratio.

- A copy of the second-semester certificate for current third-year high school students.

- For the English Literature and Cultural Bachelor's program: A copy of the English language proficiency test certificate, such as IELTS Academic or TOEFL iBT.

- For the Chinese Language Bachelor's program: A copy of the HSK Chinese language proficiency test certificate.

- For the French Language Bachelor's Program: A copy of the DELF French language proficiency test certificate.

 

Note: All attachments must be in PDF format, with a file size not exceeding 1 MB.

 

Pre-application Instructions:

For applicants to the English Literature and Cultural Studies, Chinese language, and French Language programs:

-  Candidates will be admitted upon meeting the requirements outlined for the Bachelor's programs mentioned above.

- Transfer to other majors within or outside the college is not permitted.

 

Final admission results will be announced upon completion of high school, general aptitude, and achievement assessments.

 

Interview (test) instructions:

·       The original national ID card is required

·       Arrive at the College of Languages building (station A5) half an hour before the scheduled appointment. An email containing the interview (test) dates will be sent to the registered email address within the specified period.

·       Note: Attendance on the specified date is mandatory. Failure to attend will result in forfeiture of nomination rights, as rescheduling is not possible.

 

 

 



 

Third: Talent Acquisition Requirements for the Diploma Programs of Hospitality Management and Tourism and Travel Management at the Applied College:

Application for both programs can be accessed through the talent acquisition portal within the specified timeframe.

  1. The applicant must be Saudi or have a Saudi mother.
  2. The applicant must be a third-year high school student expected to graduate by the end of the year 1444.

     The applicant is required to pass the interview determined by the Applied College.
  3. Applicants must achieve a minimum TOEFL iBT score of (53) or IELTS Academic score of (5.5).

     

For applicants to the Diploma Program in Tourism and Travel Management, it is mandatory to pass the test determined by the college.

Upon meeting the admission requirements, applicants are automatically evaluated based on the available seats and the composite ratio.

Documents to be uploaded:

- A copy of a valid national ID card/resident ID.

- A copy of the IELTS Academic or TOEFL iBT certificate.

- A copy of the second-semester certificate for current third-year high school students.

Instructions for New Applications:

- Create a user account using the national ID /resident ID number via the talent acquisition portal link located at the bottom of the page. It is necessary to fill out all the required data.

- Completing the application indicates the student's acknowledgment and agreement to the terms and conditions.

- Applicants must regularly check the status of their application through the application summary page.

- Upon nomination for admission, students must confirm their admission within the specified timetable. Otherwise, their admission will be revoked and their right to nomination will be forfeited.

- Applying to the talent acquisition portal of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University does not prevent students from applying to the unified electronic admission portal or other universities.

- It is the student's responsibility to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and conformity of the entered data with the attached documents. Any application failing to meet these requirements will be excluded.

- Applicants should follow up on special instructions and alerts through their accounts on the portal, their emails, the website of the Deanship of Admission and Registration, the university's website, and on X platform.

- All applications will be submitted through the portal. Applicants should follow up on the application status and ensure that it is saved through the application summary page on the portal.

- Applying for the talent acquisition program does not guarantee final admission, as the admitted students will be notified of that.

- Admission is not prioritized based on the application date. All applications will be sorted after the application period ends and the portal closes.
