Academic Excellence Admission Track:
This track is designed to provide academically outstanding high school students who meet the specified requirements the opportunity for placement (allocation) after successfully completing the Foundation Year, without entering the competitive allocation process. This applies to programs in colleges that require a Foundation Year, subject to approved seat capacity. Admission is conditional upon the student achieving a cumulative GPA of no less than (4.5 out of 5) after completing the Foundation Year requirements. If the required cumulative GPA is not achieved, the student will be allocated to one of the programs under the Foundation Year in which she was originally admitted, according to the announced allocation mechanism.
Target Group:
High school graduates from the same year of application who have obtained a composite score of no less than 95%.

- College of Medicine- Medicine and Surgery
- College of Dentistry- Oral and Dental Surgery
- College of Pharmacy- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences- Diagnostic Imaging
- College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences- Nuclear Medicine Technology
- College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences- Radiation Therapy
- College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences- Audiology and Balance
2. College of Engineering Programs:
- Electronic Engineering
- Communication Engineering
- Renewable Energy Engineering

Application Requirements and General Regulations for the Academic Excellence Admission Track:
- The applicant must meet the University's approved general admission requirements.
- No more than one year must have passed since obtaining the high school certificate or its equivalent (for example, if a student graduated in 1447 AH, the last eligible year for admission under this track would be 1448 AH).
- The applicant must have achieved a composite score of no less than 95%.
- Selection and sorting are conducted automatically and competitively among all applicants who meet the requirements, according to the specified capacity.
- Continuation in the Academic Excellence Track requires that the student achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 4.50 upon completion of the foundation year requirements.
- Applying to the Academic Excellence Direct Admission Track does not cancel or affect the application to the Foundation Year track for Health Colleges or the Foundation Year for the College of Engineering. Admission to both is considered independently and competitively, according to the specific requirements and criteria of each.
