Transfer from a major to another within the University: It is an academic procedure developed by the University for a student when she is not able to complete her academic career in the major to which she is admitted. That is due to academic reasons, not in line with her tendencies or she has not met the conditions at the time of specialization.

It means the student is not registering courses for the semester to be postponed, at the request of the student. The postponement period is not counted within the regular period of graduation.

Visit-based Study System: This system allows the student to study some courses at another Saudi university (without withdrawing the file) when the student faces circumstances requiring her to move (a temporary period) to another region or for other reasons.

The student's failure to continue studying for the semester in which she is registered with an acceptable excuse, while calculating the period of excuse within the regular period of graduation.

​عزيزتي الطالبة: إن ترك مقعد الدراسة دون إبلاغ الجهات المسؤولة في الجامعة يعرضك لطي القيد من الجامعة والذي يترتب عليه إيقافك عن الدراسة، وقد تصل إلى الفصل التام. طي القيد: هو إيقاف الطالبة عن الدراسة في الجامعة إذا انقطعت فصل دراسي أو أكثر؛ بدون التقدم بطلب اعتذار أو تأجيل. سياسة طي القيد في جامعة الأميرة نورة بنت عبدالرحمن: إذا انقطعت الطالبة عن الدراسة مدة فصل دراسي دون طلب التأجيل يطوى قيدها من الجامعة، ولمجلس الجامعة طي قيد الطالبة إذا انقطعت عن الدراسة لمدة أقل.
