Program Overview:

The Master's Program in Energy and Innovation equips graduates with the knowledge and skills required to meet the growing demand for scientists and researchers in the energy sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The program prepares graduates for specialized professional work in the field by allowing them to follow their desired track and complete an individual research project.

Graduates will be capable of designing, selecting, implementing, and effectively operating innovative and modern technologies in the competitive, multidisciplinary industrial field—known for its smart management, organized work environment, and stable job security. The Energy Innovation program supports graduates in applying their knowledge toward innovation, creativity, research, and developing suitable solutions to solve real-world problems in the field, while also encouraging engagement with local companies, factories, and commercial institutions for this purpose.


 Program Objectives:

  • Equip graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to participate in future energy generation, production, storage, and distribution processes.
  • Broaden the ability to contribute to the design of renewable and sustainable energy systems.
  • Develop leadership skills and critical thinking to assess, evaluate, and propose solutions for the current energy situation and related environmental crises.
  • Achieve proficiency in project design and implementation.


 Admission Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Energy, Industrial) or Materials Science.
  • A minimum score of 5.0 in the IELTS Academic test or its equivalent in other recognized English proficiency tests.
    (Applicants holding a bachelor's degree from a country where English is the primary language are exempt from the English language requirement.)
