Program Overview: The Master of Science in Computing (Data Science) program was introduced in 2017 (1439 AH) in partnership with Dublin City University to meet the labor market demand for qualified professionals in the field of data analysis, especially amidst the digital transformation occurring in the Kingdom. Under the agreement with Dublin City University, the program was localized in 2019 (1441 AH) after the graduation of two cohorts. Since then, the program has been continuously developed in line with advancements in the fields of artificial intelligence and data science. One of the key changes in this development was the program's title, which was changed to Master of Science in Computing (Data Science) to better reflect the content of the courses after necessary modifications.
Program Objectives: The Master of Science in Computing, specializing in Data Science, is designed innovatively to equip graduates with essential skills for handling big data, designing and producing high-quality programs and systems, and providing suitable economic and business solutions by utilizing the best practices in the field. This program will provide students with the opportunity to refine creative thinking and analytical skills and gain hands-on experience in data handling and analysis. Graduates of this program will contribute to addressing the growing demand in data analysis, one of the most sought-after fields both locally and internationally.

Admission Requirements: - A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields such as: Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, IT, Health Informatics, Internet of Things, Data Science, or Management Information Systems.
- Graduates holding a bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Financial Technology, or Engineering can also apply, provided they have studied mathematics and statistics courses and have completed complementary courses in Programming (Programming 1 and Programming 2) and Databases.
- A minimum GPA of "C" in the bachelor's degree.
- A minimum score of 4.5 in the IELTS Academic test, or an equivalent score in other English proficiency tests.
- A minimum score of 65 in the General Aptitude Test for university graduates, or a minimum score of 144 in the GRE General Test (Quantitative Reasoning Measure).
- Passing a personal interview.
