Program Overview:

The Master's program in Applied Economics is the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, focusing on skills in economic data analysis, modeling, forecasting, and policy analysis.

The program equips students with analytical skills and economic knowledge to enhance their research capabilities in response to the evolving needs of the labor market.


 Program Objectives:

  • Prepare professionals with a deep understanding of economic knowledge and its applications in economic analysis.

 Admission Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in economics with a minimum GPA of "C".
  • A bachelor's degree in a field other than economics, provided that a number of complementary courses specified by the department are successfully completed.
  • A minimum score of 4.0 in the IELTS Academic test, or its equivalent from other English proficiency tests (English language requirements may be waived for applicants with a bachelor's degree from a country where English is the native language).
