The College of Applied Sciences announces the start of the equivalency request for the courses of first-year students in the first semester of the academic year 1447 AH, starting from Sunday, 1st Rabi' al-Awwal 1447 AH (24th August 2025) until Thursday, 12th Rabi' al-Awwal 1447 AH (4th September 2025). Equivalency Request Guidelines: • Course equivalency will be accepted only from universities or colleges recognized by the Ministry of Education. • The equivalency is only for courses where the student has passed with a grade of "Very Good" or higher. • The equivalency will not be accepted for a course previously passed unless the credit hours are identical or more than those of the course to be equated. Equivalency will not be approved if the credit hours of the passed course are fewer than those required for the course to be equated. • Ensure that the content of the passed course studied by the student matches the content of the course to be equated in the study plan, with a compatibility rate of at least 75%. • International certificates and licenses accredited by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation will be equated with specialty courses in diplomas (with a requirement of scoring 5 in the IELTS exam). • No equivalency will be granted for a course in which the student received a grade of "Good" or lower. • No more than 25% of the total program credit hours can be equated.
