The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University continues the activities of the “Nourah Hackathon” to empower university students and innovation enthusiasts to transform ideas into initial visual prototypes using artificial intelligence technologies. The hackathon attracted over (900) participants across various fields, including environment, culture, health, and technology. The program included a virtual bootcamp featuring five workshops: “Understanding Challenges,” “From Challenge to Innovative Solution,” “Rapid Prototyping and Solution Visualization,” “Preparing the Innovation Pitch,” and “Leveraging AI in Prototype Development.” A physical bootcamp will follow from 23–25 April 2026, including hands-on activities such as robotics applications, team interaction exercises, and project presentation simulations, along with workshops titled “Refining Solutions and Building Viable Prototypes” and “The Art of Presentation and Persuasion.” This initiative aligns with the Center’s efforts to achieve the University’s strategic goals by supporting innovation ecosystems and empowering AI-driven projects.
