The Deanship of Student Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, in collaboration with the Saudi Youth for Sustainability Organization (SYS), organized a virtual conference titled “We Thrive Together 2026” on 5–6 April 2026, under the patronage of the Acting University President, Dr. Fawzia bint Sulaiman Al-Omro. The conference targeted students and interested participants from within and outside the University. The conference aimed to enhance awareness and promote sustainable thinking across various fields, including health, energy, social development, and professional innovation. It also addressed key sustainability challenges and explored future solutions. The conference served as a platform for dialogue and innovation, bringing together experts and specialists to explore new horizons in innovation and leadership within the sustainability sector. It featured (19) specialized workshops covering sustainability tracks, including: “Green Jobs of the Future,” “Skills Required for Success in the Renewable Energy Sector,” “Your Career Path in Sustainability,” and “Green Digitalization: How Digital Transformation Drives the Sustainability Agenda.” Additionally, the conference included (5) panel discussions focusing on sustainable thinking and the role of innovation in addressing contemporary challenges, including: “Entrepreneurship as a Driver for a Sustainable Future,” “Civilizational and Cultural Communication and Sustainability Across Eras,” and “The Healthcare System: From Ambition to Sustainable Implementation.” The conference program also included the “Changemakers 2026” competition, a poster competition focusing on innovative products or social initiatives in sustainability for students across Saudi universities. The competition aimed to encourage entrepreneurial initiatives and innovative social programs by allowing participants to present their projects to a panel of experts, with the top three initiatives being recognized, thereby fostering impactful partnerships that support development. The conference reflects the efforts of the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Sustainable Development Club, in achieving the University’s strategic goals by supporting an integrated ecosystem of research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, producing competitive outcomes, and empowering talents to contribute to building a sustainable future.
