The Applied College at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University is offering 11 academic and professional diploma programs for the first semester of the upcoming academic year 1446 AH, in line with its efforts to keep pace with the evolving requirements and needs of the labor market. The College offers diploma-granting academic programs, including: Public Relations, Human Resources Management, Culinary Arts, Chinese Language for Business, and Aviation Hospitality. It also offers professional programs, including: Sales, Occupational Safety and Health, and Early Childhood Care, in addition to several academic programs delivered through distance learning, namely: Marketing, Programming, and Accounting. These programs target female graduates holding a high school diploma or its equivalent—both citizens and residents—as well as female employees in the public and private sectors seeking to acquire knowledge and develop their skills through distance learning. The Chief Executive Officer of the Applied College, Dr. Rana bint Suleiman Al-Aqili, explained that the programs aim to develop students’ skills and capabilities, enhance their professional competence, and graduate female talents capable of competitiveness and leadership in the national development journey, contributing to the realization of Saudi Vision 2030 goals. Dr. Al-Aqili added that applications for the Aviation Hospitality program will begin on Sunday, 7 July 2024, while applications for the remaining academic and professional programs will open on Thursday, 11 July 2024, and continue until Thursday, 18 July 2024. The offering of these programs aligns with the strategic directions and objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University 2025, which focus on supporting women’s education, providing forward-looking academic programs, integrating with labor market needs, and enhancing skills, knowledge, and values while achieving excellence in teaching and learning.
