Artificial Intelligence Center Launches the Fifth Edition of Its Newsletter Titled “Ethical Dimensions of AI Applications”

The Artificial Intelligence Center at the College of Computer and Information Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University has launched the fifth edition of its AI newsletter titled “Ethical Dimensions of AI Applications.” The issue highlights key ethical considerations associated with the development and adoption of AI solutions, aiming to protect privacy, enhance transparency, and emphasize the role of ethical principles and regulatory frameworks in promoting responsible use. Experts from the Center contributed scientific studies and topics addressing responsible AI usage, including: “Ethics in AI: Balancing Innovation and Human Values,” “From Data to Decision: Bias in AI Systems,” “Deepfakes and Identity Impersonation,” and “Ethics of Generative AI.” The newsletter aims to serve as a comprehensive reference for researchers, students, and specialists by providing informative and awareness-driven content that highlights AI’s role in improving quality of life and enabling innovative solutions. This publication aligns with the Center’s efforts to enhance awareness of emerging technologies, transfer technical knowledge, and support digital transformation in Saudi Arabia, in line with the University’s strategic plan.
