The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University is participating in the 51st Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, held from March 11 to 15, 2026, in Geneva, Switzerland, with the participation of up to 1,000 inventors from 40 countries worldwide. The Center’s participation includes five inventions developed by faculty members at the University. These innovations range from “Nesmah,” a smart in-ear wearable device for measuring body temperature, and “ARDN,” a smart walking aid for the elderly, to a patented technology for manufacturing nanocomposites using plants for supercapacitor applications. The participation also features “Mareen,” a smart platform for rehabilitating hand joint injuries, in addition to a multi-sensory smart car seat for children. This participation aims to strengthen the scientific presence of Saudi universities on the international stage, facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise, and provide opportunities for participants to connect with inventors and researchers worldwide. It also seeks to introduce the University and foster collaboration with stakeholders interested in commercializing innovations. It is worth noting that the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions is an annual event and is considered one of the most significant and largest specialized exhibitions in the field of inventions and innovations globally. The participation of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center reflects its efforts to contribute to achieving the strategic objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University by building bridges with local and global communities, enhancing impactful international presence, and actively contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals.
