Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized a package of training and technical activities and workshops during February 2026, delivered by several colleges and centers of the university for faculty members, administrative staff, and students in various technological and innovative fields. This initiative comes within the framework of the university’s efforts to support digital transformation. Among the activities was a workshop titled “Cybersecurity from an Educational Perspective,” organized by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, which introduced key cybersecurity concepts and highlighted preventive measures to protect data and digital systems, aiming to raise digital awareness and support the quality of the educational process. The College of Computer and Information Sciences also organized an introductory workshop on participating in the global WiDS Datathon, which included presentations on data analysis concepts to practically enable students to experience data science through realistic global competition models. The college also hosted a lecture titled “Smart and Secure Mobility Management in Sixth-Generation Networks and Beyond,” which introduced cyber systems and security challenges and highlighted the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing system security and protection. In addition, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center organized a workshop titled “User Interface Experience Design for Entrepreneurial Projects,” aiming to enable participants to transform ideas into digital products, thereby improving output quality and enhancing project readiness. Another workshop titled “Branding Fundamentals” introduced the concept of branding, its elements, and mechanisms for its protection, contributing to strengthening collaboration between the academic community and the entrepreneurial sector in building a knowledge- and creativity-based economy. These initiatives contribute to achieving the objectives of the strategic plan of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University by supporting the educational process, enhancing the quality of academic outcomes, promoting a culture of digital innovation, and empowering technological entrepreneurial projects.
