Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, represented by its vice-rectorates, deanships, colleges, and centers, launched a series of events and activities during the current week in celebration of International Women’s Day, aimed at strengthening the role of women in society and highlighting their position as a key partner in development. The events highlighted the vital role of women as a central pillar in building societies and strengthening their active presence in economic, scientific, and social fields. The activities witnessed the participation of university staff members from the academic and administrative bodies, as well as students. The events included awareness and interactive booths featuring educational materials and informative publications highlighting the importance of women’s role in society, alongside various activities aimed at promoting awareness, reinforcing positive concepts, and highlighting women’s scientific, social, and professional contributions. The Women’s Leadership Center at the university launched a campaign titled “She Is Priceless,” highlighting leadership messages that reflect courage, resilience, and strength in decision-making. Meanwhile, the Deanship of Student Affairs activated interactive booths addressing the cultural and artistic landscape in theater, in addition to presenting stories of women that highlight their contributions and strengthen their presence across various fields.These events are part of the university’s plan to support women’s empowerment and strengthen their knowledge and academic presence, contributing to preparing influential female leaders. They also coincide with the official celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, reflecting the university’s commitment to celebrating women and their contributions to sustainable development.
