The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University has announced the opening of registration for the “Certified Innovation Professional” training program, targeting female students, faculty and administrative staff, and interested participants from inside and outside the university, until Saturday, 28 February 2026. The program aims to qualify participants to obtain the “Certified Innovation Professional” certificate from the Global Innovation Institute (GInI), one of the specialized bodies in accrediting professional certifications in the field of innovation. The program integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application, contributing to strengthening concepts in innovation and its modern methods. The program includes several key themes, most notably: fundamentals of corporate innovation and the innovator’s mindset, challenges and opportunities, the front end, back end, and middle of innovation, approved innovation methodologies, in addition to idea generation and beneficiary-centered solution design. It also addresses topics in design thinking, creative problem solving, and transforming ideas into implementable projects, thereby developing innovative thinking skills, equipping participants with modern innovation methodologies and tools, and enabling them to develop ideas into practical models and initiatives of economic or social value. The “Certified Innovation Professional” training program comes within the roles of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center in contributing to the achievement of the strategic objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University by supporting the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, enhancing human capital efficiency, and preparing competitive cadres that contribute to the development movement.
