The Acting President of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Dr. Fawzia bint Suleiman Al-Amro, extended congratulations in her name and on behalf of the university’s staff to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz — may God protect them — and to the Saudi people on the anniversary of Founding Day, observed annually on 22 February. She emphasized the occasion’s embodiment of deep historical roots and sustained ambition. She stated that Founding Day represents the starting point of a nation built on the values of unity, stability, human development, and nation-building, serving as a compass toward the future after three centuries of growth and prosperity. She added that the Saudi state, since its establishment by Imam Muhammad bin Saud — may he rest in peace — laid clear foundations emphasizing knowledge as a cornerstone of state building and education as a key driver of identity and transformation, shaping a model nation that combines authentic roots with a forward-looking vision. Dr. Al-Amro noted that education represents the continuation of this journey in building human capital, empowering women, preparing leaders, raising awareness, and opening future horizons for competencies capable of understanding transformations and actively shaping a knowledge-based, innovative, and sustainable future. She affirmed that Princess Nourah University, as the largest women’s university in the world, continues its role by developing an educational system that enhances learning quality, supports research and innovation, connects knowledge with development needs, and invests in national female talent in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, strengthening the Kingdom’s global presence. She concluded by praying for the continued security and prosperity of the nation and leadership and for the Kingdom’s ongoing development journey toward a future worthy of its history and ambitious vision.
