College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Wins Four Silver Medals at the 16th International Invention Fair in the Middle East

The College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University won four silver medals at the 16th International Invention Fair in the Middle East, held in the State of Kuwait with participation from innovators and inventors worldwide. The awards were achieved through the participation of Doctor of Physical Therapy students presenting four distinguished innovations reflecting the college’s scientific and research excellence. The innovation “Smart Medical Device for Joint Repositioning and Mobilization” received a silver medal for providing innovative technological solutions supporting rehabilitation and physical therapy programs. The innovation “Educational Doll” also received a silver medal for its effective use of modern educational tools in the health field. Additionally, the innovation “Baseera” won a silver medal for its aim to protect patients with peripheral neuropathy from burns through safe and intelligent solutions. The innovation “Multifunctional Augmented Reality Glasses for Parkinson’s Disease” received a silver medal for offering assistive technologies that improve patients’ quality of life and enhance mobility independence. These achievements align with the college’s efforts to support innovation and scientific research and contribute to the university’s strategic objectives by preparing competitive competencies, advancing women’s leadership in national development, and building bridges with local and global communities.
