The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University concluded “Innovation Camp 2026,” with three innovative projects winning the top positions among approximately 40 participating students from various university colleges. The camp was held at the Natural and Health Sciences Research Center. First place was awarded to the project “PNU Clinical Training Platform,” an electronic platform designed to organize clinical training by monitoring performance and documenting cases. The project “PNU HOUSE” won second place as a smart digital platform that helps students select compatible roommates based on shared criteria. Third place went to “UNIBITE,” an innovative digital solution connecting on-campus food providers with beneficiaries. Camp projects addressed diverse themes, including digital transformation, health technology, environmental sustainability, intelligent systems, and university service management, contributing to innovation, improved student experience, and quality of campus life. The camp served as a platform for innovative ideas, enabling participants to explore innovation concepts and develop creative thinking from the exploration stage to implementing scalable ideas through applied programs and specialized workshops within an interactive learning environment. “Innovation Camp 2026” is an intensive training program aimed at empowering students to develop innovative ideas and transform them into applicable prototypes through specialized workshops, technical mentorship, and guidance in entrepreneurship and intellectual property. The camp aligns with the efforts of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center to achieve the university’s strategic objectives of supporting research, innovation, and entrepreneurship among students, equipping them with 21st-century skills, and strengthening knowledge, skills, and values.
