The Preparatory Year Program Administration for Health Colleges at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, in cooperation with the Academic Affairs Department at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital, organized the “Educational and Health Awareness Day” event on Sunday, 8 February 2026, under the patronage of the Acting University President, Dr. Fawziyah bint Sulaiman Al-Amro. The event was held at the University Conference and Seminar Center. Now in its fifth edition, the event aimed to enhance students’ awareness of health academic programs in the preparatory year and provide opportunities for students to meet faculty members from the University’s health colleges and healthcare practitioners at the hospital, thereby linking academic and professional pathways with practical application within an integrated educational health environment. This contributes to enhancing students’ readiness for the labor market. The event included several accompanying pavilions, each dedicated to a specific health program and equipped with digital screens and awareness materials to enhance clarity of information and provide an interactive experience, enabling students to make informed choices regarding their academic specialization. This initiative aligns with the Preparatory Year Program’s efforts to achieve the University’s strategic plan objectives by preparing competitive outputs in scientific and practical fields, reflecting the University’s commitment to qualifying students and preparing competent healthcare professionals who contribute effectively to serving the health sector.
