College of Humanities and Social Sciences Concludes the Scientific Week “The Journey of Research Innovation: From Idea to Indexed Publication”

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University concluded yesterday, Wednesday 4 February 2026, the scientific week titled “The Journey of Research Innovation: From Idea to Indexed Publication,” held under the “Researcher’s Voice” project, with the participation of a number of faculty members and researchers from within the university. The scientific week included a series of training workshops addressing topics such as “Innovation in Generating and Formulating Research Ideas” and “Writing the Research Paper: Strategies Toward Indexing.” These workshops discussed themes related to the use of artificial intelligence applications, analysis of research ideas within indexed fields, stages of preparing and writing research papers, and quality standards for academic writing aimed at indexed publication. As part of the Researcher’s Voice project, the college delivered workshops titled “From Idea to Journal: The Researcher’s Journey Toward Indexed Publication” and “Researcher Digital Identity and Strategies to Enhance Academic Citations.” These workshops highlighted the concept of digital identity on research platforms and its role in enhancing researchers’ academic visibility, in addition to reviewing strategies for identifying indexed scientific journals. “Researcher’s Voice” is a project initiated by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences to serve the community of researchers in humanities and literature disciplines by responding to research inquiries and providing research ideas from within and outside Princess Nourah University. The scientific week aligns with the college’s efforts to enhance the quality of scientific research and contribute to achieving the university’s strategic plan objectives by boosting research productivity, supporting the quality of indexed scientific publishing, and linking research outputs to societal needs, thereby contributing to the development of the scientific research ecosystem.
