Princess Nourah University Team Wins Second Place in the Saudi University Sports Federation Karate Championship

Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s karate team achieved second place in the Saudi University Sports Federation Karate Championship during the sixteenth sports season, which was hosted by the University of Tabuk from 28 to 31 January 2026, with the participation of 12 universities from various regions of the Kingdom. The university team’s achievement of second place serves as a strong motivation to enhance female students’ participation in sports activities, contributing to reinforcing the university’s role in university sports forums and encouraging investment in women’s sports as one of the key pillars of university excellence in athletic fields. The championship aimed to develop female students’ athletic skills, support women’s empowerment in sports, strengthen the spirit of sports competition, and discover promising talents to represent the university in local, regional, and international sporting events. This achievement comes within the framework of the efforts of the Sports Affairs Administration to contribute to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s strategic plan by promoting female students’ participation in sports, empowering women in the athletic field, supporting sports excellence, and providing a supportive university environment that contributes to developing students’ athletic capabilities.
