The College of Business Administration and the College of Sport and Physical Activity at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized, today, Thursday, 29 January 2026, a panel discussion entitled “Innovation in the Sports Sector: Toward a Healthy and Active Society”, in conjunction with the Riyadh Marathon 2026. The session was held at the College of Sport and Physical Activity at the university. The panel discussion aimed to enhance community participation in sports activities among university staff and students, explore opportunities for innovation in the sports sector, and raise awareness of the importance of physical activity. The discussion covered several key themes, including the concept of innovation in the sports sector, available fields and opportunities for innovation within the sports industry, the role of modern technologies in promoting physical activity, as well as the impact of sports innovation on building a healthy and active society and enhancing community engagement. It is worth noting that organizing this panel discussion falls within the efforts of the College of Business Administration and the College of Sport and Physical Activity at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University to raise awareness of innovation, health, and physical activity fields, and to contribute to the objectives of the university’s strategic plan, which aims to provide a supportive environment for health and well-being and to enhance values, knowledge, and skills among faculty members, administrative staff, and students.
