Saudi Scientific Association for Dental Education and College of Dentistry Organize the Conference “Artificial Intelligence in Dental Education”

The Saudi Scientific Association for Dental Education, in collaboration with the College of Dentistry at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, will organize on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, the conference titled “Artificial Intelligence in Dental Education (Challenges and Solutions).” The conference targets female and male students and faculty members in dental colleges across Saudi Arabia and will be attended by a distinguished group of dentists and specialists in the field. It will be held at the University’s Conference and Convention Center. Now in its third edition, the conference serves as a scientific platform for discussing the opportunities and challenges associated with integrating artificial intelligence technologies into dental education and practice. It also reviews the latest tools and technologies in dental education and patient care, in addition to developing integrated, AI-supported clinical strategies. The two-day conference focuses on strengthening collaboration among academics, researchers, and practitioners, and on exchanging best scientific and professional practices, thereby contributing to the preparation of qualified healthcare professionals capable of keeping pace with technological transformation in the field of dentistry. The conference will address several key topics, including the development of the educational process and review of academic content in specialized dental disciplines, the modernization of assessment methods for dental students, and the application of artificial intelligence in diagnosis and treatment processes. It will also highlight the role of artificial intelligence in advancing scientific research in dentistry. The conference program includes a series of panel discussions, along with a range of accompanying activities and events, such as lectures accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, specialized workshops, and a medical education research competition focusing on specialized research and innovative educational technologies aligned with the conference themes. The Chair of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Scientific Association for Dental Education at the University, Dr. Hazar Al-Harbi, stated that “the conference comes in celebration of 50 years of dental education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and affirms the Association’s role in supporting and enhancing the quality of dental education by showcasing the latest developments in artificial intelligence, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.” The conference is part of the roles of the Saudi Scientific Association for Dental Education, in collaboration with the College of Dentistry, to support the research and innovation ecosystem and adopt modern technologies in the development of dental education.
