The University achieved third place among Saudi universities in the Shanghai Ranking 2025, while maintaining its position within the (301–400) bracket globally, reflecting the strength of its academic outputs. The University also attained advanced local rankings in the Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2025 across several disciplines, including Medical Technology, Veterinary Science, Dentistry and Oral Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as Mathematics, Agricultural Sciences, Energy Science, and Engineering. In the THE World University Rankings by Subject 2025, Princess Nourah University ranked prominently in several fields, including Social Sciences, Economics and Business, Medical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Education, and Computer Science. In the context of academic and professional development, the University secured the renewal of accreditation for its Academic Excellence Professional Development Program, accredited by the UK’s Advance HE. The program, designed according to the UK Professional Standards Framework (PSF), aims to enhance teaching and learning practices among faculty members and has been renewed until August 2030. These advanced rankings reflect the University’s commitment to enhancing education quality and advancing competitive academic and research outputs. They also extend the University’s ongoing efforts to improve its academic programs and align them with sustainable development requirements and international standards, thereby strengthening its institutional reputation locally and globally.
