Over 24,000 Students Benefit as the Deanship of Student Affairs Achieves a Transformative Impact in 2025

As part of its ongoing efforts to empower students and enhance the university environment, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University achieved a transformative momentum during 2025, contributing to strengthening the University’s academic, health, and innovation profile and improving the efficiency of its programs. This momentum was built on providing an integrated framework to prepare students by fostering a motivating university environment and developing personal and professional skills through training programs that benefited more than 24,000 students. It also included opportunities for local and international participation, the promotion of health and well-being, and the empowerment of students with disabilities, supporting a comprehensive university experience with sustainable impact. The Deanship contributed to enhancing the University’s presence on the global achievements map by securing international gold medals and the Grand Prize at the International Exhibition of Inventions, in addition to innovations that received prestigious classifications such as Double Gold. It also signed approximately ten cooperation agreements with international, regional, and local entities to train students and develop human capital. In a significant institutional achievement, the University obtained the renewal of its accreditation as a Health-Promoting University by the World Health Organization (WHO), confirming the quality of the health and well-being system within the university environment. The University also hosted the ninth meeting of Student Advisory Councils of universities and higher education institutions across GCC countries, with the participation of 18 universities. Furthermore, the Deanship organized the first Model United Nations simulation, with students from various Saudi universities participating, making Princess Nourah University the first public university to host this educational model, enhancing dialogue, diplomacy, and decision-making skills. During 2025, the University’s students achieved outstanding results, winning 82 local awards and 19 regional and international awards, in addition to securing 90 advanced positions, 17 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals. The total number of award-winning students locally and internationally reached 228. The Deanship also launched several key programs, including Itqan, Support Program for Sports Teams and Scout Groups, and the Student Leadership Empowerment Initiative. In addition, it implemented initiatives such as “Through Our Eyes, We Serve You” campaign, the Virtual Health Clinic, Noura Health initiatives, empowerment activities such as TEDxPNU and the Summer Camp, cultural exchange programs, and professional support initiatives including Sumouq, Apprenticeship, and Our Aspiration for Professional Certifications. The Deanship of Student Affairs continues to contribute effectively to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s strategic plan by enhancing competitive national competencies and providing a supportive environment for health and well-being, thereby sustaining the quality of the educational experience and empowering human capital.
