Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University is introducing four new undergraduate academic programs across several colleges for the upcoming academic year 1446 AH. The College of Designs and Arts will offer two bachelor’s programs in Theatrical Production and Music and Audio Production, while the College of Sciences will offer two bachelor’s programs in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics and Materials Science and Engineering (an interdisciplinary program with the College of Engineering). Additionally, the Applied College, in collaboration with Apple Academy, will introduce an intensive cooperative training track (COOP track) within the curriculum of the Diploma in Programming, following the successful completion of the first year of the program. The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Farah bint Mansour Al-Askar, stated that the programs offered for the upcoming academic year are part of the University’s plan to enhance competitive outcomes by anticipating labor market needs and aligning them with the development of academic programs, thereby improving students’ professional efficiency. She emphasized the richness of the curricula and the diversity of study modes, offering students flexibility in enrollment and degree attainment. These programs fall within the University’s five-year plan to develop and introduce academic programs for the upcoming academic year 1446 AH and include several academic advantages, such as early exit points (Sigma System) in some programs that qualify students for early entry into the labor market. This initiative reflects Princess Nourah University’s role in achieving the objectives of its 2025 Strategic Plan by preparing competitive competencies for national development, offering innovative and flexible academic programs, strengthening ties with the labor market, and achieving excellence in teaching and learning. Registration for these programs will be available through the unified electronic admission portal for female students for the year 1446 AH.
