The Deanship of Student Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, in partnership with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, hosted the Global Mawhiba Enrichment Program on Saturday, 29 June 2024, with the participation of approximately 279 gifted students. The three-week summer program, held at the College of Sciences, aims to enrich students’ scientific and linguistic knowledge, help them identify future academic fields, provide experience in completing university-level tasks and projects, highlight national talents, and prepare students to support the Kingdom’s transformation into a knowledge-based society. The program also enhances communication with global universities, opens promising opportunities for continued learning, and develops students’ personal skills. The Global Mawhiba Enrichment Program includes four tracks: Medical, Biological, and Chemical Sciences; Physics, Earth, and Space Sciences; Engineering Sciences; and Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. Mawhiba enrichment programs are implemented periodically as part of the collaboration between Princess Nourah University and Mawhiba, based on the importance of refining knowledge and skills across various applied and cognitive fields, investing in gifted youth, enhancing their capabilities to achieve national goals, and contributing to a prosperous economy and sustainable development.
