Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s women’s futsal team secured second place in the Saudi University Sports Federation Futsal Championship for the sixteenth sports season, which was hosted by Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University from 10 to 13 December 2025, with the participation of (23) universities from various regions of the Kingdom. Achieving second place in the championship serves as a strong incentive to enhance students’ participation in sports activities, contributing to strengthening the university’s presence in university sports forums and encouraging investment in women’s sports as one of the pillars of university excellence in the athletic field. The championship aimed to develop students’ athletic skills, support women’s empowerment in sports, and promote the spirit of athletic competition, in addition to discovering promising talents to represent the university in local, regional, and international sports events. This achievement comes within the framework of the efforts of the Sports Affairs Administration to contribute to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025, by enhancing students’ sports participation, empowering women in the sports sector, supporting athletic excellence, and providing a university environment focused on developing students’ athletic capabilities.
