The Sara Al-Sudairy Center for Women’s Studies at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University announced the opening of applications for the “Women’s Research Support Initiative” until Friday, 9 August 2024, as part of the National Research Priority Support Program in Women’s Issues, targeting those interested in women’s studies from within and outside the University. The initiative aims to support research funding and attract distinguished researchers within the Center’s research priority areas, which include: gender equality and balance, the civilizational role of Saudi women, women and technology, innovation, entrepreneurship and economy, women and environment and sustainable development, social issues of women, legislation and laws supporting women, and women’s health. The support covers various types of research, including national research, large-scale research, small-scale research, joint research, and postgraduate students’ research. The initiative aligns with the Center’s objectives of supporting decision-making through relevant research, highlighting women’s role in national development, and achieving excellence in women’s studies, positioning the Center as a hub of thought and a reliable source of accurate information related to women at both local and global levels. The Sara Al-Sudairy Center represents a pioneering initiative to support Saudi women’s development in line with Saudi Vision 2030. The Center includes a research unit, a museum documenting Saudi women’s history and development journey, and a digital library specializing in women’s scientific and research output.
