The Deanship of Student Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University will host tomorrow, Friday, 12 December 2025, the “Future Makers: Innovation, Public Speaking, and Leadership” initiative for children with cancer and their families. The initiative is organized by the Princess Al-Anoud Foundation and will be held at the Code Lab on campus. The initiative, which continues until 3 January 2026, includes workshops and training sessions on public speaking techniques and the fundamentals of innovation, in addition to programs and activities that help empower children with self-expression and public speaking skills. It also aims to enhance their innovation and creativity abilities in an accessible manner and improve their psychological well-being through participation in the activities and programs offered.
A volunteer team from the Noura Giving Incubator, consisting of university students and several staff members from the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, will take part in implementing the initiative, reinforcing community engagement within the university. The initiative also includes participation from the “Kulf” volunteer team under the “Leaders of Tomorrow” project, which aims to provide psychological and social support to children with cancer and their families, affiliated with the Princess Al-Anoud Foundation. Hosting this initiative reflects the Deanship of Student Affairs’ role in contributing to the goals of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025 by activating high-impact partnerships, driving knowledge and community influence, and strengthening connections with the local community in support of its social responsibility.
