Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University Wins the “Best Practices in Quality” Award for the “Institutional Classification of Colleges” Initiative

Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University has won the “Best Practices in Quality” award at the 12th Arab International Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education, held in Jeddah and organized by the Association of Arab Universities. The university received the award for its initiative, the “Institutional Classification of Colleges,” launched by the Decision Support Department with the aim of improving the academic and research performance of colleges through a measurable, standards-based methodology that enhances a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the higher education environment. The conference brought together more than 200 Arab and international experts and academics representing leading universities and educational institutions to discuss the latest trends and practices in quality assurance and academic excellence. The event also featured the presentation of more than 60 specialized research papers and a series of applied workshops. This achievement aligns with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025, which focuses on strengthening institutional excellence, developing the academic and research capabilities of its members, and supporting high-impact initiatives that foster innovation, enhance performance quality, and reinforce the university’s position as one of the leading higher education institutions.
