Princess Nourah University’s Women’s Leadership Center and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources Sign a Memorandum of Understanding

The Women’s Leadership Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, on the sidelines of the 21st General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), hosted by the Kingdom at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center. The memorandum aims to strengthen cooperation between the two parties and contribute to empowering national female talents in the industrial and mining sectors through the exchange of expertise and knowledge, and by leveraging available capabilities in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and sustainable industrial development programs. The areas of cooperation include field training for female students within industrial facilities, the exchange of expertise and knowledge, the development and implementation of specialized training initiatives and programs, and the preparation and development of studies and consultations related to women's empowerment in the industrial and mining sectors of both parties. The Women’s Leadership Center was represented in the signing by its Director, Dr. Iman Al-Samari, while the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources was represented by Mr. Nasser Al-Mutairi, Director General of the General Department for Enabling Industrial and Mining Institutes and Academies. The signing of this memorandum reflects the shared objectives of both parties in establishing mutually beneficial knowledge exchange relations, enhancing women’s participation in vital sectors, leveraging capabilities to develop female talent, and contributing to sustainable development in the industrial and mining fields in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
