The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized a series of diverse activities over the past month, including digital meetings and a panel discussion, as part of its efforts to support innovation and entrepreneurship and build an environment that fosters creativity and economic empowerment. The center’s activities aimed to develop students’ skills, enhance the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, and provide opportunities to transform creative ideas and entrepreneurial projects into real job opportunities aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. The digital meetings covered a variety of topics, including: “Design Thinking”: introducing the concept of human-centered design thinking for solving problems in innovative ways, “Power BI Fundamentals”: aimed at developing practical skills in the program to achieve optimal results in data analysis and dashboard creation, and “Developing Electronic Games Using Unity”: focused on programming basics, building game environments, and designing control systems. Additionally, participants explored entrepreneurial business development skills, idea generation and evaluation, building effective teams, project planning, and overcoming challenges through the session “From Idea to Team: Practical Steps for Building a Successful Entrepreneurial Project.” Another session, “Introduction to 3D Modeling,” introduced the fundamentals of modeling and transforming ideas into realistic digital prototypes. The activities also included a panel discussion in collaboration with the Saudi Businesswomen Association, held under the “Noura Women Entrepreneurs Path” initiative, titled “National Identity and Entrepreneurship in Light of Vision 2030.” The session discussed the role of national identity in entrepreneurship, how Saudi values inspire innovation and social responsibility, and national identity as a competitive advantage in entrepreneurial ventures. These activities come as part of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center’s efforts to contribute to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah University’s Strategic Plan 2025, supporting the university’s transformation into an innovative and entrepreneurial institution, and strengthening its global standing in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation.
