The Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Noura Health Program at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, in collaboration with the Auxiliary Health Services Center at the Ministry of Health—represented by the Central Blood Bank in Riyadh—organized the “Voluntary Blood Donation” campaign at the University Recreational Center. The campaign contributed to promoting a culture of voluntary blood donation among students and university employees, supporting the national blood supply in hospitals, and strengthening the values of generosity and social solidarity. This initiative plays a role in building a healthy and responsible university community that supports public health and community engagement. The campaign included pre-donation medical examinations, awareness lectures on the benefits of blood donation, and an interactive booth designed to educate students on the importance of regular donation and its role in supporting central blood banks across the Kingdom. The “Voluntary Blood Donation” campaign reflects the efforts of the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Noura Health Program, to contribute to achieving the goals of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025, by providing a supportive environment that promotes student health and well-being, raises awareness, and reinforces the significance of voluntary blood donation.
