Princess Nourah University Opens Noura Award for Women’s Excellence (8th Edition) for Nominations in Six Theoretical and Applied Fields

The Secretariat of the Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman Award for Women’s Excellence has announced the opening of nominations for the 8th cycle (1447 AH/2026 AD), which recognizes outstanding achievements by Saudi women across various fields and supports their qualitative participation in comprehensive and sustainable national development. This year’s award includes six theoretical and applied fields: Health Sciences, Humanities, Social Work, Natural Sciences, Economic Projects, and Fine Arts. Dr. Rasha Al-Ghafis, Secretary-General of the award, confirmed that the award, now in its eighth edition, continues to highlight the university’s pioneering role in celebrating the achievements of Saudi women. She added that the award showcases inspiring success stories and fresh ideas that generate societal impact and strengthen the innovation ecosystem, enabling new generations of women to contribute meaningfully to national development and enhance excellence locally and internationally. Nominations for the 8th edition open on 1 November 2025 and close on 1 February 2026.
