The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University participated in the “First Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference in Saudi Universities,” held from 21–22 October 2025 and organized by King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. More than 40 innovative projects from PNU staff and students were showcased. The center’s booth featured student projects in technology, energy, health, and sustainability, in addition to displaying national and international patents registered under the university. The booth also provided opportunities for commercialization and partnerships with investors. Visitors were introduced to the center’s services and the application process through PNU’s “KOD” platform, with access to the center’s programs and initiatives. During the conference, Dr. Modawi Al-Otaibi, Head of the Innovation Unit at the College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, participated in a panel discussion titled “Academic and Research Innovation: Realities and Practices.” She discussed the role of universities in transforming academic outcomes into practical applications and in building supportive environments for innovation. Dr. Maram Sabri, Director of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center, emphasized that the university’s participation highlights the outcomes of its innovation programs, fosters strategic partnerships, and empowers women students to participate in the national entrepreneurial landscape. The conference serves as a national platform that brings together innovators, entrepreneurs, and supporting entities to foster economic development and encourage investment in entrepreneurial projects, in line with the university’s 2025 strategic goals.
