Under the Theme “An Inspiring Vision for a Promising Tomorrow,” the College of Dentistry Launches the “Health Career Day”

The College of Dentistry at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University launched, on Saturday, 11 October 2025, the “Health Career Day” under the theme “An Inspiring Vision for a Promising Tomorrow,” under the patronage of the Acting President of the University, Dr. Fawzia bint Suleiman Al-Amro. The event was held at the university’s Conference and Convention Center. The “Health Career Day” seeks to achieve several strategic objectives, including opening new professional horizons, enhancing innovation and entrepreneurship, expanding professional networks, strengthening collaboration between academic institutions and the industrial sector, and reinforcing partnerships between the public and private sectors to help prepare qualified health professionals. The event includes participation from postgraduate students, graduates from health colleges, trainees, and specialists in the health sector, with the aim of exploring future career opportunities, developing the skills required for the labor market, and keeping pace with various health specialties. The “Health Career Day” features a range of accompanying activities, including:a main session titled “Bridging the Gap: Emotional Intelligence in Communication and Leadership” to develop emotional intelligence skills in communication and leadership, several specialized workshops, most notably: “Start Your Career: How to Create an Outstanding CV?” and “Excel in Your Next Interview,” which offers simulation sessions to support professional success. The event also includes a session that showcases inspiring stories and professional insights by thought leaders in the field of dentistry. The day provides an opportunity to meet representatives of leading companies and institutions in the health sector through the accompanying job fair, explore available training and job opportunities, and view the latest technological innovations in the field.Dr. Rasha Al-Harthy, Vice Dean of the College of Dentistry for Research, Innovation, and Business, explained that “Health Career Day represents a pivotal step in connecting students and graduates of health disciplines with the labor market, as it brings together more than 20 leading recruitment entities under one roof, in addition to specialized workshops.” A number of memorandums of understanding with health organizations are being signed on the sidelines of the event to strengthen partnerships in the health field. The college is represented in signing these agreements by the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Rahaf Al-Mohareb. The “Health Career Day” comes as part of the College of Dentistry’s efforts at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University to contribute to achieving the goals of the university’s Strategic Plan 2025, including preparing competitive talents, enriching the educational experience, enhancing women’s leadership in national development, and providing a university environment that supports health and well-being.
