Under the patronage of H.E. the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, the College of Computer and Information Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University is organizing the exhibition and competition for bachelor’s graduation projects in computing and technology specializations at computer science colleges in Saudi universities—She Codes 2024 (second edition)—during the period 12–13 May 2024, at the University’s Conference and Symposium Center. The exhibition includes a competition to select the most creative graduation projects and a competition to select the best scientific posters. Projects and posters will be evaluated by judges from various Saudi universities and from business sectors related to computing, information technology, and communications. The exhibition also features the participation of several entities from both the public and private sectors, along with workshops relevant to the exhibition’s field. The exhibition focuses on achieving multiple objectives, including creating a competitive environment among female students from Saudi universities, enabling them to benefit from one another’s experiences and exchange expertise, and enhancing the quality of outputs in computing and technology specializations, in alignment with ongoing efforts to empower Saudi women in technical disciplines under Saudi Vision 2030. This comes within the College of Computer and Information Sciences’ efforts to contribute to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s 2025 Strategic Plan, which aims to enhance competitiveness in education and employment, create job opportunities, build students’ capacities, and equip them with 21st-century competencies.
