The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University concluded yesterday, Sunday, 5 May 2024, the activities of the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, which was organized in cooperation with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Monsha’at,” at the University’s Central Library. The bootcamp aimed to create an entrepreneurial environment among faculty members and students through workshops and meetings. The “Entrepreneurship Bootcamp” was held as an intensive entrepreneurial program to raise awareness and train participants on building and refining their ideas, developing them, and preparing them to design an initial business model. It also shared key studies and tools needed for those ideas to transform into viable entrepreneurial projects, through a practical methodology directed at idea owners and work teams. The bootcamp, which started on 28 April, targeted students, academic and administrative staff at Princess Nourah University, and entrepreneurs. It included a package of programs and activities, including five training workshops on: Entrepreneurship Fundamentals, Design Thinking, the Business Model Canvas (BMC), the Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and Pitching Skills for Investors. This comes as part of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center’s commitment to delivering bootcamps that contribute to achieving the goals of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s 2025 Strategic Plan by promoting the concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship, developing innovations, preparing a generation capable of local and global competitiveness, and contributing effectively to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
