The College of Dentistry at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized yesterday, Tuesday, 29 April 2025, the “Scientific Research Day and Innovation Exhibition,” in its eleventh edition, at the Medical Skills and Simulation Center on campus. The event showcased approximately (60) research posters and was attended by nearly (200) female students from the College, under the theme: “A Journey Toward a Promising Future for Dentistry, Where Science Meets Innovation.” The event aimed to promote scientific research and innovation, highlight the research conducted by internship doctors, students, and faculty members, and showcase their research projects and innovative ideas in the field of dentistry. The program included introductory presentations on completed research by internship doctors, in addition to an accompanying exhibition of scientific posters across various dental specialties. It also featured a poster exhibition for innovation projects addressing tools, materials, and electronic programs in the same field, presented by students and faculty members. The “Scientific Research Day and Innovation Exhibition” serves as an annual scientific platform that enables students, internship doctors, and faculty members to present research and innovative projects, contributing to the enhancement of research capabilities, exchange of expertise, development of innovative ideas, and preparation of a generation capable of providing innovative solutions that serve the community. This initiative aligns with the College of Dentistry’s contribution to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025, which aims to provide a supportive environment for research and innovation, excellence in teaching and learning, and the preparation of research cadres that contribute to advancing the healthcare system.
