For the Third Consecutive Time: Princess Nourah University Team Wins First Place in the Women’s Futsal Championship

The Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University team claimed first place in the Saudi University Sports Federation Women’s Futsal Championship for its fifteenth season, which was hosted by Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, with the participation of more than (300) female students representing (23) universities and colleges from various regions of the Kingdom. King Faisal University secured second place in the championship, while Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University achieved third place. The tournament witnessed a high level of competition among participating teams, as players delivered outstanding athletic performances, reflecting the advanced level of sports skills among female students and contributing to excellence in university sports arenas. Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University hosted the championship from 22 to 26 April 2025, with the aim of developing and enhancing students’ skills in futsal, supporting university sports, fostering competitive spirit among universities, and strengthening relationships through sports activities. It is noteworthy that the Princess Nourah University futsal team won the championship title for the third consecutive time, having previously been crowned champions in the two preceding editions. This achievement comes as part of the efforts of the Sports Affairs Administration to contribute to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025, by enhancing students’ participation in sports, supporting athletic excellence, and providing a university environment that focuses on developing students’ athletic abilities through leading sports programs.
