The Deanship of Scientific Research and Libraries at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University is organizing, during this month, a series of specialized training workshops aimed at enhancing the competencies of its staff and providing more effective and high-quality research and information services. This initiative continues the Deanship’s efforts to strengthen professional skills and develop a library work environment equipped with modern knowledge and technical tools. The training series, conducted online, includes: workshops on “Customer Service Skills” and “Basics of Using Outlook”, aimed at the staff of the Library Affairs Agency and the University’s branch libraries, a workshop on “Training on Accessing and Searching the Saudi Digital Library” for all university staff, and a workshop on “Total Quality Management in Libraries”, provided in partnership with Naseej Academy for participants inside and outside the university. These workshops provide participants with both theoretical and practical knowledge, such as: learning Outlook and its main components, understanding the Saudi Digital Library and its features, instructions on accessing and searching its scientific resources, and applying total quality management principles in university libraries. This initiative reflects the Deanship’s commitment to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah University’s 2025 Strategic Plan, by empowering staff with up-to-date scientific and research skills, improving the quality of services for all beneficiaries, and supporting the University’s vision for institutional excellence and digital transformation in the library and academic service sectors.
