Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, is organizing the second edition of the “Nabih” Forum from April 21–23, 2025, to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs. The event will be held at the University’s Conference and Seminar Center under the patronage of the University President, Dr. Inas bint Suleiman Al-Eisa. The forum, themed “Be Aware”, continues the University’s efforts in drug awareness, in partnership with the General Directorate for Narcotics Control, reflecting the University’s pioneering role as the first Health-Promoting University in the region. The initiative also contributes to achieving Saudi Vision 2030 objectives by improving quality of life and building a healthy, vibrant society. The forum is expected to attract over 15,000 visitors, aiming to raise community awareness about the dangers of drugs and psychoactive substances, inform participants about government regulations and policies for combating drugs, and enhance psychological and social support for affected individuals. It also fosters knowledge exchange and collaboration between governmental and private entities, while encouraging students to engage in creative initiatives promoting drug awareness. Dr. Fatima Al-Harbi, Director of Guidance and Counseling at the Deanship of Student Affairs, stated: “The Nabih Forum is a significant opportunity to strengthen collaboration between universities and governmental bodies in combating drugs. It also highlights Princess Nourah University’s role in raising awareness among students, providing psychological and social support to affected individuals, building a drug-free healthy society, and promoting student creativity through competitions and interactive workshops.” The forum’s program includes a panel discussion, an accompanying exhibition with awareness booths, consultation services, interactive activities, and training workshops. Winners of the “Pure Life” Competition will be announced, covering five main tracks: scientific research, visual arts, graphic design, awareness messages, and short films. The “Nabih” forum reflects the Deanship of Student Affairs’ commitment to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah University’s 2025 Strategic Plan, which aims to ensure a healthy and supportive university life, providing a safe and healthy environment for students and the entire community.
