The Department of Sports Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized the “Electronic Sports Invitational Tournament (FC25)” on Wednesday, 5 March 2025, with participation from 10 universities across Saudi Arabia. The tournament aims to enhance competitive spirit among universities in electronic sports, develop strategic and analytical skills among students, and provide a stimulating competitive environment to nurture players’ talents. It also seeks to promote e-sports as a competitive sport that relies on skill and planning and encourages students to participate in digital sports activities. The FC25 tournament features competitive electronic matches among participants, providing them with opportunities to test strategies and engage in effective competition. Participating universities include Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, King Saud University, Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, King Abdulaziz University, Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, Dar Al-Hekma University, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, King Faisal University, and Al-Roya Colleges. The tournament supports the Department of Sports Affairs’ strategic goals for 2025 by providing a university environment that develops students’ athletic capabilities, encourages sports excellence, and prepares students for local and international competitions.
