Signing of a Cooperation Memorandum Between the University Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs and the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve Development Authority

On February 27, 2025, the University Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve Development Authority signed a cooperation memorandum, aimed at enhancing joint collaboration, supporting and strengthening integration, exchanging expertise, and backing national efforts and joint projects across multiple fields. The areas of cooperation include: providing training and practical opportunities for female students and faculty members in shared scientific and practical domains, participation in training courses, workshops, and specialized lectures, organizing awareness campaigns, launching and supporting environmental and community initiatives, and conducting specialized workshops and conferences. The cooperation also allows for visits to the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve and the King Khalid Royal Reserve for research and development purposes. The memorandum was signed on behalf of Princess Nourah University by Dr. Farah Al-Askar, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and on behalf of the Royal Reserve Development Authority by Dr. Talal Al-Harigi, Chief Executive Officer. This cooperation memorandum serves to achieve shared goals between the two parties, including promoting environmental sustainability, human capital development, scientific and field research, and supporting female researchers in conducting studies, experiments, and periodic surveys, thereby contributing to the documentation of ecological and biological diversity.
