Student Affairs Deanship Hosts a Delegation from the University of Tokyo

On February 24, 2025, the Student Affairs Deanship at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University hosted a delegation of female students from the University of Tokyo, Japan, as part of efforts to enhance cultural and academic cooperation between educational institutions through experience exchange, visits, and joint programs. The hosting period lasted eight days, during which the delegation participated in a comprehensive program including: an introductory program on Saudi culture titled “Welcome to Saudi Arabia,” a seven-day Arabic language learning program at the Arabic Language Institute for Non-Native Speakers, and an interactive program titled “Experiencing Traditional Saudi Hospitality,” designed to introduce the delegation to local customs and traditions through various Saudi heritage experiences. The visit also included guided tours of the university campus, covering the College of Engineering, the Natural and Health Sciences Research Center, and the Medical Skills and Simulation Center, along with field trips to prominent cultural and tourist landmarks in Riyadh. This hosting reflects the university’s commitment to expanding international cooperation, promoting innovation, and benefiting from diverse academic experiences. It also contributes to building a globally competitive educational system across various fields. The hosting of University of Tokyo students is part of the Student Affairs Deanship’s efforts to achieve Princess Nourah University’s Strategic Plan 2025, by building bridges of communication with local and international communities and enhancing the university’s effective global presence.
