The Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Agency at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Sunday, February 16, 2025. The agreement aims to enhance joint cooperation in research fields, cooperative training for students, exchange of expertise, and the sharing of artificial intelligence data. The cooperation areas outlined in the MoU include conducting and developing scientific research and studies, manuscript investigation, publishing, translation, and collaboration in implementing and developing curricula, scientific methods, tools, programs, training courses, and educational workshops. It further includes field and cooperative training, volunteering initiatives, sharing digital data, supporting scientific research, utilizing specialized libraries, and exchanging resources, scientific materials, and academic experiences. The MoU was signed on behalf of Princess Nourah University by the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Fawzia Al-Omro, while the King Faisal Center was represented by Dr. Abdullah Hameedaddin, Assistant Secretary-General for Academic Affairs. This agreement reflects a shared commitment to promoting scientific research, supporting researchers, enriching academic production, and strengthening knowledge integration. It reinforces Princess Nourah University’s role in producing scientific research that serves society and aligns with national priorities.
