Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services signed a cooperation agreement on Monday, February 10, 2025, during the activities of LEAP 2025 Conference. The agreement aims to strengthen digital partnership and support digital transformation and innovation by leveraging the expertise and capabilities of both entities and promoting knowledge exchange in information technology, digital transformation, and emerging technologies. The areas of cooperation include sharing expertise, knowledge, and experiences; conducting research and studies in digital innovation; undertaking research, studies, and publications related to emerging technologies and artificial intelligence in the transport and logistics sector; and designing and developing innovative solutions. It also includes conducting scientific studies, organizing workshops and training programs, and providing training opportunities for students from the College of Computer and Information Sciences and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Princess Nourah University. Princess Nourah University was represented in the signing by the University Vice President, Dr. Fahad Al-Misned, while the Ministry was represented by the General Supervisor of Information Technology and Digital Transformation, Eng. Mohammed Al-Ghannam. This agreement supports the shared goals of both parties to establish knowledge-based partnerships, enhance human competencies, and promote communication and collaboration. It aligns with Princess Nourah University’s Strategic Plan 2025 to expand strategic partnerships and invest in academic, technological, and research capabilities in order to strengthen the University’s position as a leading institution in providing specialized services and innovative solutions.
